Line: Lines are all over this photograph, the fence is made of line. The bold black lines of the fence make for a very linear piece.
Proportion: From a straight perspective the placement of the statue fits in perfectly with the middle entrance, which in turn is directly proportional to the other entrances.
Movement:The ripples caused by the swimmers put a great emphasis on movement and the free flowing forms it creates.
Unity:The arrangement of ducks sleeping in a form of huddle does well to highlight a great sense of unity between the animals.

A Peek into the Liz's Wonder World
the point of this project was to show the perspective through another's eyes. Kofi and I decided to do a play on looking through a door hole to see who is there. Our photo is the reverse of looking out to see whom is there and show a person looking back through the door hole into the mind of the person on the inside.
1. Jeslin and Berkley - Kidnapping photo
- excellent use of photo angle and placement of hands
2. Wendy and Elizabeth- Cigarette photo
- Strong use of cropping along with the fire not being a perfect circle. The use of blowing smoke out of her mouth helped identify the idea of the photo.
3. Dom, Michael and Connor- Soccor photo
- good use of players in the back looking on edge, this strengthened the photo, giving the audience a sense of how important this moment was.
4. Micaela and Jen- Dance photo
- Last dance photo was the strongest. Together all the dance photos made a strong piece however separate the last one by itself would have been enough. The eye doctor photos was a creative idea however not nearly as strong as the dance ones.
5. Erin and Alex- Student perspective photo
- Good job of making the background what it included, without these elements the photo would have been much weaker. Also the use of having the hands in the photo made it more clear whos perspective it was from.
6. Frank and Tara- Sandwich photo
- Needed to edit the first view of a person eating but overall an interesting idea to do both the sandwich's perspective along with the person eating the sandwich's perspective.
7. Spencer and Ben- Cake photo
- Good use of wearing the white clothes to symbolize it was a chef rather than just a random person. Should've cropped the background, the dorm looking chairs and tables was a slight distraction.
8. Stevey and Meghan- Boyfriend photo
- Kind of confusing with the order, if the photos were three in a row horizontally the idea would have come across stronger.
9. Peter and Andrea- Pandini's photo
- The angle could have been better, the idea is clear but certain elements could have been strengthened. Knowing the difficulties of the photo it is understandable why the photo was taken at the angle and why it was during a slower paced timing but from just looking at the photo no one would know that.

group effort- point of view & life 'n' death
Process
We met as a group
and did some brainstorming on what we all seem to have in common. The result of
our devising was the Italian delicacy, pizza.
This became our theme and this is because not only do we all like the dish
but also a pizza is usually made with eight slices, this was pivotal to our
project especially since we had to address eight different aspects and
categories to the final project.
Synopsis
For
the final project we chose point of view aspect, in this category we made use
of the fisheye lens to give the perspective of somebody being delivered a
pizza. Next was the double entendre section, where we exploited pictures of
pizza made in the shape of the mathematical symbol, pie. With the multi frame
department, the act of making a pizza was caught in three frames. The framing
of the image category happened to be overlapping in our other sections due to
the fact that each picture used was edited and cropped to display what we
wanted. Next was the symbol aspect of the project, in this dimension we created
a picture of a pizza decorated with pepperonis in the shape of a marijuana
leaf. We used this iconic leaf because
it is much more than a representation for drugs but rather a modern day symbol
for youth and recreation. In the life and death segment, we decided to stick
with our theme therefore we illustrated a prepared pizza ready for consumption
and on the other hand a devoured pizza signified by the crust left in the box.
Lastly, in the sound portion, we made use of a vintage traditional Italian song
to strengthen our piece as well as give it a sense familiarity and harmony.
